Lawrence R Hagen

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Lawrence R. Hagen,80 of Jackson, WI. Larry passed to the Lord’s loving hands on September 11, 2025. He was born December 24, 1944, the son of the late Raymond and Katherine Hagen. Larry was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.

Larry grew up in New Berlin, WI where he attended Waukesha High School. In 1962, Larry and his lifelong best friend Rick Sindicic were at his home when Larry met the love of his life Bonnie Buechs. Larry and Bonnie were married June 26, 1965, and shared a wonderful 60 years of marriage.

Larry started working as a carpenter building homes, including building 2 of his own family homes. His health then decided he needed to take a different path, he then worked in Maintenance and Custodial duties for New Berlin Public Schools. Larry often worked two jobs so Bonnie could stay home with the children.

Larry and Bonnie couldn’t wait to start a family of their own, their children meant the world to them. Lisa, Bryan, Craig and Kris share many good family memories.

At the young age of 48, Larry was forced to retire due to losing most of his sight, this did not keep him down. Larry and Bonnie often traveled during this time or Larry could be found out fishing.

Larry’s greatest joy was his family; he especially loved spending time with the Grand and Great Grandchildren. Each child has their own special Grandpa Larry story.

Larry was preceded in death by his loving parents Raymond and Katherine Hagen. Brother-in-Law and Sister-In-Law Matt and Carole Nettesheim. Brother-In-Law Art Larson.

Larry is survived by his devoted wife Bonnie. His children Lisa(Mike) Pushkash, Bryan(Tracy) Hagen, Craig(Jill) Hagen and Kris(Tom) Casper. His Grandchildren Angie(Ryan) Koenigs, Stephanie(Nick) Bush, Sarah(Ben) Kufalk, Jacklyn Casper, Rebecca(Zach) Stockheimer, Joe(Carmen) Casper, Cody(Brianna) Hagen, Kayla(Josh) Thomas, Dylan Hagen. Great Grandchildren Connor, Weston, Paige and Vanessa Koenigs, Gavin and Brady Bush, Addison and James Kufalk, Carson and Parker Stockheimer, Hadley Casper, Dakota Hagen, Henry and Charlotte Thomas. His Brother Charles(Jacqueline) Hagen, Sister Joanne Larson, Sister Linda(Bill) Pekrul, many nephews and nieces and loving friends.
