April 12th, 1964 - October 6th, 2025
Michelle Lewis, 61, of Milwaukee, WI passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2025. While our hearts are heavy, we remember her with deep love, laughter, and endless gratitude for the life that she shared with us.
Born and raised in Milwaukee to Michael and Eudora Faccio, Michelle grew up on Woodlawn Court and attended St. Joan Antida High School. She was a spirited teenager and carried that same bold energy throughout her life. Her courage to live authentically inspired those around her and helped mold lifelong friendships. Music was woven into everything she did – it was the soundtrack to moments in her life, a constant companion, and now a reminder of her reflections, adventures, and joy.
Michelle spent her career in the service industry, where she touched the lives of thousands with her kindness, humor, and “get it done” attitude. Whether you were a stranger, or someone she’d known forever, you were treated like family – and likely fed, encouraged, and sent on your way with a smile (or a sassy comment!)
She was the proud Mom of Sarah (Matt) Miller. Her greatest joy came from being a Grandmother to Peyton, Talia, Makayla, and Abel. She also played a loving role as Auntie to Stephanie and Ryan Zettel, and opened her heart fully to her bonus daughters, Sara Williams and Ashley Mueller.
Michelle is further survived by her life partner Chris Cherry, her beloved Godparents Jim Faccio, Andrea Engel, and Susie Biggs. She is deeply mourned by dear friends Tom Hartman and Lisa Zettel, in addition to her extended family and friends.
Please join us on October 25th, 2025 at Wisconsin Memorial Park Family Center (13037 W Capitol Dr, Brookfield, WI) to reflect on the amazing life we were lucky to be a part of. Visitation will be 9:30am with service beginning at 10:30am, and a celebration of life will follow at Alioto’s (3041 N Mayfair Rd, Wauwatosa, WI).
