My condolences to the family on their loss of a person that really made a difference in my life as well.  Through his leadership in Scouting, my life was shaped for the better and I still carry many of those values that he helped instill in me today.  I hope he knew how much it meant to myself and the others that expressed this same feeling.  If it's not too late, 'Thank you!'

I echo what Steve Scherbarth and John Skipchak have said.  My memories remain to this day of the fun times we had in Boy Scouting at St. Mary's Czestochowa.  The leaders like, Rommie, Mac Scherbarth, Chet Kucharski, Lenny Nowak and others were true role models to us all.  In addition to having lots of fun, we learned a lot.  We learned life skills, the ability to make the "right" decisions in our life and the example of these men provided by the giving of their time and resources to help ensure the next generation was as good as they were.  It is our responsibility to do the same for our next generation.  I/we owe a lot to all of them for being part of our lives and I say thanks.  

I want to express my deepest sympathies to the Frankowski Family and please know how important your dad was not only in your lives but others.

I just received a message about the passing of my dear uncle and godfather, Uncle Roman.  I hope my cousins are comforted in the knowledge that he is at peace surrounded by Aunt Florence and his brothers and sisters that preceded him including my mother, Rose.  It is the memories that always sustain us as we put our faith into what is to come.  Rest in peace my dear godfather.

I feel very fortunate having Romie as a role model. With his friends, Chet Kucharski and Mac Scherbarth, my dad, I have many fond memories of dart-ball, Boy Scout camping and canoeing trips. He was of the generation that gave all. Romie and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so glad that I grew up with men like Romie as a positive role model. With his friends Chet Kucharski and Mac Scherbarth, my dad, I have very fond memories of dart-ball, Boy Scout camping and canoeing trips. Romie was a member of a special generation that would not think twice about serving their country or helping a friend. My prayers and thoughts are with Romie and his family.

I will never forget Romie, it was the scouting days of Saint Mary Czestochowa and the Holy Name Smokers, and campouts that are my best memories. I have never forgotten that he was always such a good and kind man, he never got too excited although he really had good reason between keeping John Makowski (Macow) and John Skipchak (Skip) in line, he let the yelling up to Chet Kucharski. It has been over 40 years now that the memories of him being a second dad to me actually made me a better person in life, I will never forget him. At this time my thoughts and prayers go out to all of the family and may he rest in eternal peace with all of our parents and his friends and family

Uncle Romie was always kind to us..the kind of guy who lit up a room. He was loved by all and will be missed by all..May you rest in peace with your beloved Florence...
