We are very sorry to inform you of the death of Allen Ostroy, who passed away early Thursday morning, August 15, in Burlington, VT. He was 54 years old and died from sudden heart failure.
Allen is survived by his mom, Zippy, his brother Paul Ostroy and Paul's wife Andrea, and their children, Shae, Nyella, and Taj.
Al was loved by everyone he interacted with, especially by his family. He was a devoted worker, and his colleagues became his family as well. His family shared that he had a heart of gold, was always giving of himself, and just made the world a brighter place.

Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Brookline.
Zippy will be observing Shiva at her home on Tuesday evening, August 27, and Thursday evening, August 29, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. with shiva minyan services held at about 7:30 p.m.
