Amy Sue (Cohen) Dana

On February 3, 2022, Amy Sue (Cohen) Dana a resident of Salem and formerly from Marblehead, passed peacefully into rest. A beloved wife to the late Philip Dana, daughter to the late Marilyn and Hyman Cohen, Sister to Robert Cohen and his wife Donna, Aunt to Cory Cohen and Kyle Despins.

Amy was a 1978 graduate of Marblehead High School followed by a time at Emerson College in Boston. She began her career in 1983 at Kiss 108 radio working with her mentor, Sunny Joe White and was rebranded as Ami Heart. She aired on his morning show and became a Boston personality with an innovative program on lifestyle and fashion that catered to a New England market. Later in her career she joined the team at Jam’n 94.5, Star 93.7, where she created one of the regions most successful annual events for the station’s listeners “The Star Style Ball”, featuring national recording artists and the latest in fashion. Once she retired from the radio industry, she spent her time relaxing and entertaining friends and family.
