

Amy Doralyn Spindler passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 33. Born on October 1, 1992, in Framingham, Massachusetts, Amy spent her life in nearby Ashland, where she developed lifelong connections and cherished memories.
Amy was a proud graduate of the Brayton School at Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton, Massachusetts. Throughout her 33 years, she achieved more than many do in a lifetime, never allowing her differences to limit her. Her determination and vibrant spirit were evident in all aspects of her life.
Amy enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends. She found joy in traveling, crafting, baking, gardening, swimming, and attending concerts. A true testament to her perseverance, Amy completed the Boston Marathon in 2024 alongside her runner, Claudia McCoy. She touched the lives of everyone she met, drawing them in with her infectious smile. Her resilience and positivity will continue to inspire all who knew her, for She Made It Look Easy.
Amy is survived by her loving mother, Lisa Smith Spindler, her father, David Spindler, her brother, Michael Spindler, his wife, Holden Funk-Spindler, her grandmother, Carol Smith and her devoted dog Scout. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins and many friends who will forever cherish her memory.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the many caregivers who supported Amy throughout her life, with special appreciation for Karen Paiva.
Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at 11:00 am at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton. Interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. A celebration of life will then be held at Zachariah’s at the Sheraton Four Points, 1125 Boston-Providence Turnpike (US-1) Norwood, MA 02062.
