

Arnold Siegel of Boston passed away Sunday, Oct 15, 2017 at the age of 86. For 16 years he was the loving husband of Eleanor Siegel. He had previously been married to the late Selma Siegel. Adoring father of Shari Shocket and her husband Alan of Needham Ma, Lori Miller and her husband Adam of Chappaqua, N.Y. and step families Jodi and Andrew Dady of New York City and Stephanie and Nicholas Brandeleone of Wayland, Ma. He has a beautiful legacy in his wonderful grandchildren, all of whom he was crazy about, Jeffrey, Mattie, and Marisa Shocket, Joshua, Jacob and Sami Miller, Jillian and Alexander Dady and Jenna and Ethan Brandeleone. He leaves younger twin brothers, Stanley Siegel of Waldwick, New Jersey and Joe Siegel of Los Angeles, California and sister in law Ethel Slate of Lexington, MA.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on April 21, 1931, Mr. Siegel graduated from City College of NY. This was followed by several years in the Army during the Korean War as a Criminal Investigation Detective. Upon his return from Japan, he embarked on a very successful career in retail management where he held several executive positions. He loved playing tennis and traveling and was also a member of YPO.
While living in New Jersey he was responsible for raising significant monies for Israel. He received personal recognition from Prime Minister Golda Meir during a fact finding mission in Israel as a guest of the government. Arrangements are private. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.
