Arthur Green, 96, of Brookline, MA. A graceful, generous, industrious man and WWII veteran, who peacefully passed on July 23, 2015 after a valiant struggle with heart disease. He was the beloved husband of Rosanna (Cohn) for 73 years, treasured father of S. Emilie Green of Brookline, MA and Mitchell Green of Arlington, VA. Arthur was the dear son of Morris and Minerva ('Minnie') Hirschorn Green, darling stepson of Sadie Green and devoted brother of William, Sidney and Samuel Green all of whom predeceased him. He also leaves many loving nieces.
A graveside service will be held at the Shara Tfilo Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury on Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2pm. Memorial observance will be held at the family home on Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm.
