

Beatrice (Black) Karmazine of Newton, entered into rest on March 11, 2023 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Edward Karmazine. Devoted mother of Pamela Karmazine-Farber and her husband Howard of Newton and Debra Karmazine-Fowler and her husband William of Sharon. Cherished grandmother of Andrew Farber and his fiancee Emma Wolinsky of Ohio and Michael Fowler of Sharon.
Beatrice was born on May 5, 1927. She graduated Malden High School and married her sweetheart Edward in 1947. They had a wonderful 56 years together, raising a family and buying their first house in Randolph.
Beatrice was always an extrovert. She was involved in many organizations during her life, including Young Israel Sisterhood, Randolph Council on Aging , and many other social groups. She made friends wherever she went. She had many friends in her neighborhood, none so dear as Jeanne Engel and Martha Rooney, her ‘adopted daughters’.
Beatrice traveled extensively in her later years. She took 17 trips all over the world, including Australia, Europe, Israel, China, and a host of other countries. She was always ready for the next adventure.
Beatrice was loved by all her knew her and will be missed. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, March 14, at 9:45 AM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Memorial observance will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bea's memory may be made to the World Wildlife Foundation at www.worldwild.org or to a charity of your choice.
