Bernice G. (Zilen) Sandler, of Dedham, formerly of Chestnut Hill and Hull, entered into rest on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Richard M. Sandler. Devoted mother of Hilary M. Morris and her husband Dr. Guyle E. Morris of Chestnut Hill and Lorin H. Sandler and his wife Stacey of Chicago, IL. Cherished grandmother of Adam, Zachery and his wife Jessie and Molly Sandler and her fiancée David and Tyler and Kenzie Morris.
She grew up in Boston and raised her family in Chestnut Hill.
Bernice worked as an extended-day teacher in the Brookline Public Schools system. She cherished the time she spent with her family, friends, and respected colleagues.
Her graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 11:45 AM at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Canton.
