Bonnie B. Brock Bassuk

Bonnie B. (Brock) Bassuk, a long-time resident of Framingham and member of Temple Beth Sholom in Framingham, died on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the age of 79, after a courageous 2+ year battle with a rare type of leukemia (CMML). Beloved wife of Edwin M. Bassuk for 56 years. Devoted mother of Shari Markowitz and husband Paul of Westborough, Joel M. Bassuk and Lucie May of Oxford, England, and Heidi Zibel and husband Scott of Leominster. Loving Bubby to Ezra and Elianna Markowitz, Noah and Sheba Bassuk, and Ardon and Shayna Zibel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the graveside funeral service at the Framingham-Natick Jewish Cemetery, 20 Windsor Avenue, Natick on Tuesday, March 8 at noon. Following the burial, memorial observance (shiva) at Temple Beth Sholom, 50 Pamela Road, Framingham until 5pm, and then 7-9pm. Shiva visitation continues at the Bassuk home in Framingham on Wednesday, March 9 from 1-5pm, and then 7-9pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Temple Beth Sholom “Strength to Strength” Fund, or charity of your choice.
