Carol E. Nesson

Carol E. Nesson, of Belmont, formerly of West Roxbury, on June 14, 2024. Loving mother of William Young and his wife Rachel, and their daughter, and Daniel Young. Devoted sister to her older brother Robert Nesson and his wife Kathe and the late Ralph Nesson.

Carol was a graduate of Brookline Public Schools, Simmons College, and the Boston University School of Law; she worked for the Boston Law Department and was the General Counsel for the Boston Retirement Board before starting her own law practice. She was a long-time volunteer for Rosie’s Place and the Friends of the West Roxbury Public Library. Her chocolate chip cookies were delicious; her taste in literature highly respectable; and her garden well-tended. She often thought about learning to play the piano.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 18th, at 1:00 pm in the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon MA with interment to follow. Visiting hours following the interment until 7:00 pm will be at William and Rachel’s home; relatives and friends invited.
