Charles A. “Chuck” Schwartz, MD, of Needham on Thursday, April 24, 2014. For 55 years, he was the beloved husband and best friend of Sheila Fay (Gopen) Schwartz. Devoted father of Pamela Fay Cohen & her husband Steven of Davis, CA, David Ansin Schwartz & his wife Jane Price of Waban, Elizabeth Sondra Cohen & her husband Tal of Tucker, GA and Julia Molly Healy & her husband John of Dedham. Loving grandfather of Elena & Ethan Cohen, Kira Cohen, Emma & Jacob Schwartz, Tav, Neri, Shir & Yaara Cohen, Aidan & Charlotte Healy. Devoted son of the late Dr. George & Florence (Ansin) Schwartz and treasured stepson of the late Charlotte (Samet-Shikes) Schwartz. He was a caring psychiatrist with a private psychiatric practice in Needham for over 40 years. Services at the Chapel at Sharon Memorial Park, 41 Dedham Street, Sharon on Sunday, April 27 at 12:00 noon. Memorial observance following the service until 7pm and continuing Monday and Tuesday 1-4pm and 6-8pm at his late residence. Please omit flowers.
