Sadly, we want to share that our mom, Dorothy Summers Blank, passed away peacefully on January 20th at her home in Palm Beach Garden at the age of 100. Predeceased by her loving husband, Arthur Blank z’l, parents Samuel and Sarah Summers z'l, brother Barney Summers z'l, sister Jeanette “Shiffy” Cohen z'l, brother Charles Summers z'l and grandson Jeremiah Frederick Blank z'l. She leaves behind her children Noreen Goldwasser (Avi), Stuart Blank (Christine), Michael Blank (Patricia), Susie Blank Wolfe (Alan) and Shirley Ansbacher Blank; grandchildren Ilana Ivan (Yaron), Dan Goldwasser, Dina Chitayat (Eitan), Jody Blank Lefkowitz (Todd), Andrew Blank (Annie), Aaron Blank (Alia), Julie Alcorn (Ben), and Sam Blank (Alexandra) and Great-grandchildren Nili, Yael, Nadav, Ben, Tom, Sage, Marissa, Devin, Isaac, Jack, Henry, Noah and Zoey.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24 at Kehillath Jacob Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury at 1 PM.
Directly following the service, shiva will be held at the home of Michael Blank.
