Douglas N. Tishler

Douglas N. Tishler died peacefully at his home in Brookline on December 4, 2022 at the age of 77. He is survived by his loving brother and sister-in-law, Gerry and Beth Tishler, his nephews, Carl Tishler and Ben Tishler and their children, Selina, Samzi, Stasha, Owen and Amos. Doug was also very close with his extended family of in-laws and cousins who remember him with great fondness for his kindness, attention to their needs and steadfast love. Doug’s friends were treasured by him, especially Beatriz Alba delRio. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.

Services will be at Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard Street, Brookline on Friday, December 9 at 10:00AM. Burial to follow at Temple Israel Cemetery, Wakefield. Shiva will be on Friday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the home of Beth and Gerry Tishler.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances in Doug’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice or Temple Beth Elohim of Wellesley.
