Eleanor F. (Rappaport) Verdun, age 100 years, of Needham on Sunday, February 9, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Sol Verdun. Loving mother of Lawrence J. & Ruth Verdun and Michael L. & Donna Verdun. Adored grandmother of Lisa, Jeffrey, Alan and Amy and great grandmother of Elias, Aden and Sumner. Dear sister of the late Ruth Kaplan and Dr. Sidney Rappaport. Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Tuesday, February 11 at 9:00am. Burial in Sharon Memorial Park, 41 Dedham St., Sharon. Memorial observance Tuesday, immediately following the burial through 3pm and continuing 7-9pm at the home of Michael & Donna Verdun. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of your choice.
