Estelle R. Mitchell (Alpert), of Wayland, formerly of Newton, on Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Victor G. Mitchell. Loving mother of Leslie Mitchell & her husband Ralph Gelling, and Karen Capland & her husband Brad. Adoring grandmother of Melissa Capland. Devoted sister of Martin & the late Judy Alpert, the late Howard & Ida Alpert, and sister-in-law of Helene Mochedlover. Dear aunt to her nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and her magnificent voice. Services at Temple Emanuel, 385 Ward Street, Newton on Thursday, June 12 at 11:00AM. Burial at Sharon Memorial Park, 41 Dedham Street, Sharon. Following the burial, memorial observance will be at The Hills Clubhouse, 133 Hillside Drive, Wayland through 8:30PM and continuing Friday afternoon, 2-5PM and Saturday evening, 7-9PM at Leslie & Ralph’s home. Please do not park on the street, use the guest parking spaces throughout the property.
