Ruth and Janet,

I just learned about your mother by reading Hakol from the Jewish Community Center. I am so sorry to read this news. She was my mom's favorite neighbor at Penn Crest, and I always enjoyed visiting Mom and her. I did get to see her when she moved to The Lakes, as I recall.

She was also my nursery school teacher in 1948 or so, although I do not quite recall that, but she remembered me from back then. Your mother also encouraged me to learn how to play bridge, which I did not do yet.

About your family: I was happy to be able to buy three cars over the years with your dad's advice at the Mazda place.

Dear Ruth,Janet and family,   I am saddened by Fayes passing. To me she will always be Mrs Mozes who I met as a young girl in need of a wonderful family. I met Ruth in school who instantly became my best friend and she would invite me home where Mrs Mozes would always have something on the stove cooking for dinner!!  Both she and Mr Mozes were so very kind to me and they became 2nd parents to me for many years. THere love for one another filled their home and made me feel so cared for. I had lost my father at a young age and being apart of the Mozes family filled a huge void. I will never forget them. I will never forget Mrs Mozes and her "brisket"!!!!  I am very Blessed to have known her and the whole family. My deepest condolences, my deepest prayers go to Ruth,Janet and the whole family .  With much love , Debbie Weinstein

Dear Ruth, Humi, Janet, and family,

We were sorry to learn of Faye's passing.  We met Faye and Joe around Thanksgiving, 1971, when they were visiting their first granddaughter Miriam in Richmond, VA.  They were the sweetest people, and true ambassadors for Allentown, to which we re-located several months later, and have been happy here since.  They welcomed us and introduced us to the community.  We are better for having shared our lives with them and we hold so many fond memories of the times we spent with them.  May you be comforted in your sorrow, and may their memories always be for a blessing.

You were very lucky to have the parents you did. 
The best thing my parents ever did was buy their first house in the same block as Joe and Faye Mozes and Vic and Elise Friedman.

Miss Faye was my nursery school teacher (circa 1950-1951 or so) as well as long time friends of our family.  I remember her smile and sweetness and send our deepest sympathy on your loss.

I grew up on North Ott Street. Faye was a loving and formidable figure on the block. She always wore a smile and spoke with kind words. My condolences.

The world was a better place because of dear Aunt Faye. She was the sweetest person I have ever known. I will cherish my fond memories of her and she will be sorely missed. I am so sorry that I'm not there with you during this sad time, but you are all in my thoughts and prayers. My deepest sympathies to Ruth, Janet and the entire family.
