Harry M. Shuman

Harry M. Shuman, Esq., 85, of Newton, MA, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. He was the beloved husband of Florence M. (Licker) Shuman. Born in Boston, Harry was the son of the late Morris and Helen (Morss) Shuman.

Harry financed his own education, and took great pride in being an attorney. He worked diligently his entire life, still engaging in the practice of law for six to seven days a week until his final illness. Harry was an attorney of distinction who was known to nearly every judge in Boston. He also achieved the level of Master Mason in the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts in Boston.

In addition to his dear wife, Florence, those left to cherish Harry’s memory are his dear daughter, Meredith Shuman Casale and her husband Douglas; his cherished grandchildren, Dara, Devon, and Mason; and his loving sister, Miriam Raphel and her husband, Gerald.

Services are being conducted privately.
