Hi Bernie, Kenny and Elliott... Mark, Jeremy and I have been thinking about you guys not just all weekend but since this all began...How strong you all are to have gone through such a storm. Our prayers continue for all of you and as friends of Helen and the family we know that she will be greatly missed but never forgotten!

Whether you knew her as Helen, Cookie, Mrs. Strauss, or Ken and Elliott's mom, she was a very special and courageous lady. She took care of my dad, who has Multiple Sclerosis, almost everyday for 25 years and rarely asked for a break.  My mom was loved by many and made everyone she cared about, feel important.  May she rest peacefully with my grandparents.  I love you mom forever!

I did not know Helen personally, although I know her son Ken very well. My thoughts and prayers ( friends and families' prayers too)are with you and your family as you grieve the loss of your mother. Ken, know this... If you or your family need anything we would love to help. Even if it is just to listen.....I'm only a phone call away. Remember the good and great times. Those times that made you smile. Those are the days we all will cherish, forever. May God bless.

Helen was my roommate at Emerson Hospital in January.  Although we had both lived in Acton for many years, we had never met.  It was a gift for me to meet Helen. I was touched by her concern for her family as she awaited word on her own condition.  She had an inner strength that I will always remember.....May she rest in peace and may her "three men" find comfort in warm memories of a strong, loving wife and mother.
