Herbert Heinstein

Heinstein, Herbert Morris of Newton. Entered into rest on February 17, 2014 at the age of 78. Loving husband for 50 years of Bernice (Feldman) Heinstein. Devoted father of Jonathan and his wife Wendy Heinstein, Robert and his wife Jennifer Heinstein, and Steven Heinstein. Cherished grandfather of Noah, Kaela Joshua and Brian, dear cousin of Steven Spector and uncle to Sharon Freeman and Larry Wasserman.

A Certified Public Accountant for over 40 years, Herbert served his country as a captain in the United States Army. One who loved the ocean, he was an avid sailor who enjoyed spending time on the beach, taking long walks and traveling with his friends and family to Mexico.

He supported many charitable causes, including serving on the Board of the American Friends of Libi, an organization that was close to his heart.

Herb had many friends throughout his life, and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

Services will be at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon Street, BROOKLINE, MA at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at Sharon Memorial Park, 20 Dedham St., Sharon on Thursday, February 20, 2014.

Memorial observance will be held on Thursday, February 20th from 4pm to 8pm and on Friday, February 21st from 1pm to 4pm in the Community Room of The Towers at Chestnut Hill, 250 Hammond Pond Parkway, Chestnut Hill.
