Howard L. Averbach December 6, 1926 - June 23, 2021 (94 Years old) Delray Beach, Florida Howard Averbach (formerly of Fair Lawn, NJ) passed away peacefully on June 23, 2021 at age 94. He was a loving husband of the late Ruth Averbach; devoted father of Larry (Ann) Averbach and Eric Averbach; proud grandfather of Ashley (Michael) Tymoc and Maxwell Averbach; great-grandfather of Abigail Tymoc; dear brother of the late Pearl (the late Bill) Berow. Howard’s family and extended family meant everything to him. Whenever necessary he was ready to lend a hand to his family and friends. He readily reached out to keep the family ties strong. He always cherished friendships, old and new. Howard had a generous spirit and was an optimistic man. Howard loved to be active and volunteered his time with several varied organizations. During his retirement he loved golfing, fishing and reading. He also loved classical music and attended concerts with friends on regular basis. He was a lifelong Red Sox fan.
