BRONSON, Irma (Schwartz), of Newton, formerly of Weston, Jamaica Plain, and Brighton, entered into rest November 4, 2017 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Bronson. Devoted mother of Noah and Wendy Bronson of West Palm Beach, FL, Phyllis Bronson of Aspen, CO, Howard and Marissa Bronson of West Dover, VT and Becky Bronson and David Penfield of Westford, MA, and mother-in-law of the late Jesse Boyce. Loving sister of the late Jack Schwartz and sister-in-law of Henny Schwartz of Cranford, NJ. Cherished grandmother of Amanda Bronson, Ashley Bronson, Rachel Holmgren, Gordon Bronson, Andy Penfield, Scott Penfield, Gabriella Bronson, and Ari Bronson. Adoring great-grandmother of Brooke Holmgren. Funeral service on Monday, November 6, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Temple Shalom of Newton, 175 Temple Street, Newton. Interment to follow at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon. Following interment, memorial observance will be held at the home of Ellen Klapper and will continue on Tuesday evening from 7-9 PM at the home of Becky Bronson and David Penfield.
