Jean Taylor Michaelson

Jean Michaelson (Oxman) of Brookline, entered into rest February 10, 2021, at the age of 99. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Abraham I. Michaelson. Dear daughter of the late Max and Yetta (Peltzman) Oxman and Elias and Berle (Nye) Taylor. Devoted mother of James Michaelson and his wife Judy, and his late first wife Homa, Dr. Ira Michaelson and his wife Sherry, and Dr. Geoffrey Michaelson and his wife Susan Finger. Sister of the late Morris Oxman. Also survived by nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Jean was known or her powerful soprano voice, performances in opera, Yiddish theatre, and as a church and synagogue soloist. Private Graveside Services were held at the Pride of Lynn Cemetery in Lynn, Massachusetts.
