Jeanne M. Marks Lazarus

Lazarus-Jeanne, passed on March 26, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Jerome, dear mother of Arnold of Sayville and Harriet of Brookline, MA. Cherished grandmother of Beth of Brookline, MA. A past President of Sinai Reform Temple of Bay Shore. Graveside service 12noon on Sunday, March 29 at Beth Moses Cemetery, W. Babylon. Friends invited to join family after the service at the Annex at the Bay Shore Jewish Center, Bay Shore. Memorial Observance will be held at her late residence on Tuesday March 31, 2015 from 6:30-8:30 pm, and will continue at the home of Harriet Lazarus on Wednesday April 1, 2015 from 2-4 and 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm.

WE REMEMBER HER

At the rising of the sun and at its going down,

we remember her.

At the blowing of the wind and the chill of winter,

we remember her.

At the opening of the buds and in the rebirth of spring,

we remember her.

At the blueness of the skies and in the warmth of summer,

we remember her.

At the rustling of the leaves and in the beauty of autumn,

we remember her.

At the beginning of the year and when it ends,

we remember her.

As long as we live, she too will live; for she is now a part of us,

as we remember her.

When we are weary and in need of strength,

we remember her.

When we are lost and sick at heart,

we remember her.

When we have joy we crave to share,

we remember her.

When we have decisions that are difficult to make,

we remember her.

When we have achievements that are based on hers,

we remember her.

As long as we live, she too will live; for she is now a part of us.
