On Wednesday, December 18th, 2019, Jerry Rosenberg, loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away surrounded by family at the age of 80. Jerry was born in Boston on April 26th, 1939. After graduating from Boston University with a degree in Broadcasting, he spent many years working in the media industry in New York. He later moved back to Boston and spent the second half of his career running Brickman’s, a decorative hardware store on Moody Street in Waltham. It was back in Boston where Jerry started his family. Jerry was a deeply caring man who devoted his life to family. His biggest pride was his children and grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents, Jack and Frances Rosenberg and sister Marilyn Grosberg. He is survived by his children Adam and Kim Rosenberg, Alison and Bill Mostyn and his four grandchildren, Calvin, Melanie, Sophia, and Tessa. He is also survived by his sister Janice Becker and his four nephews and their families.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in gratitude to Brigham and Women’s Hospital to support the Division of Behavioral Neurology.
