Joyce M. (Newman) Wilson

Joyce Mae Wilson passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 from complications related to cancer at the age of 84 years. She was originally from Springfield, MA. She lived in Needham, MA for 30 years and then resided in Mashpee, MA and Wellington, FL. For 59 years, she was the beloved wife of the late David Wilson; loving mother of Charles and wife Leslie, Steven, and Robert Wilson; adored grandmother of Haley, Olivia, Aiden, Sarah, Ari and Emerson; cherished son of the late Morris and Sylvia Newman; brother of Albert Newman.

Joyce was a retired advertising executive from a successful 40+ year career. She and her husband were the founders of David Wilson Associates in Needham, MA and worked there for 25+ years until she retired in 1998.

She was very active at Temple Beth Shalom. She was an avid golfer and mahjong player at Wycliffe Country Club and enjoyed nothing more than to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She also loved boating and spending time on the water.

Burial at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon, MA.

Following the burial, the family will receive visitors at a place to be announced at the service until 4 pm and continuing on Thursday from 6:30-8:30 pm.
