Judith "Judy" H. Linn

Judy Linn passed away on May 8, 2023, at age 84. Beloved wife of Harold M. Rosenberg, sister of Karen Linn Szurek (Sam), and of sister-in-law of Irma Rosenberg.

Judy graduated from Brown University with a degree in psychology, and in the late 1960s went on to receive an MS degree from Boston University's newly founded science communication graduate program, where she taught for many years and was appointed an adjunct assistant professor. A seasoned medical writer and editor, she joined the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) in 1976 and became the New England chapter secretary and then president. And in 1985 she was elected president of AMWA's national association. Her dedication to AMWA was recognized in 2002 at the New England chapter's 25th anniversary celebration by the governor of Massachusetts who declared it Judy Linn Day. A membership award was created in her honor. Judy will always be remembered for her generosity, humor, family devotion, and friendship.
