2019 after a 3 1/2 year hard fought battle against Pancreatic Cancer. He was
born and raised in Boston (Dorchester), very proud of his Jewish heritage
and his Boston accent. A talkative person, he reveled in speaking to anyone
in his vicinity and was always considerate and helpful to everyone he met.
His signature greeting, rather than, "How are you" was that of a typical
Bostonian: "HowAYa".
He was a philanthropic soul who made significant donations to Beth Israel
Deaconess Hospital, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Hebrew Rehabilitation
Center/Hebrew Senior Life, Congregation Bais Pinchas of Boston, Khal Tiferes
Yosef, and to local Jewish day schools.
Donations in his memory may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for the
research of Dr. Robert J. Mayer, Good Shepard Community Care or the charity
of your choice.
Lenny will be missed by all who knew him.
