AVIS DE DÉCÈS
Libby S. Wolpert
Libby S. Wolpert entered into rest on April 8, 2021. Beloved wife of Udell Wolpert for 65 years, until his passing in 2019. Devoted mother of Alan and Dianne, Craig and Nancy, and Scott and Sandy. Cherished grandmother of Joey, Ben, Sam, Hannah, Adam, and Jamie. Dear aunt of many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Coleman and Rose Finkelstein, Libby was preceded in death by her siblings: Sidney, Irving, and Harriet Finkelstein.
After graduating Medway High School in 1950, Libby attended Beth Israel School of Nursing where she received her RN degree. Libby worked at Medfield State Hospital until it closed in 2003. She ended her career as a night supervisor for one of the regional units and continued to support the hospital residents with volunteer services.
Libby was a lifetime member of Hadassah and an active member of Congregation Ael Chunon. Libby enjoyed collecting Hummels and participating in chapter events. She loved spending time at the family cabin on Hancock Pond in Maine as well as many trips to Foxwoods. But her greatest love was spending time with family and friends.
Services were held privately, due to public health restrictions, with interment at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Auburn Rd, Millis.
