

Lidia Glazman Kats passed away peacefully on October 24th, 2025, surrounded by a support system of family and caretakers.
She was 87 years old.
Known as Lilya by loved ones, she made friends everywhere she went and cherished her close circle of friends. She is survived by her husband, Mozus, her son, Lev, her stepson, Davyd, her daughters-in-law, Alina and Liza, granddaughters Dalia, Thais, Sonia and Arina, as well as her sister, Polina (Zynovy), and nephew, Ilya, among many more friends.
Lidia was born on June 16, 1938, in St, Petersburg, Russia to parents Lev and Dasha Slonimer, the second oldest of three sisters. In 1972, she immigrated with her son to Tel Aviv to start a new life outside the Soviet Union. She met her husband, Mozus, after immigrating to the United States through mutual friends in 1983. She wore many entrepreneurial hats, including owning her own travel business, Sky Travel. In the early 2000’s she and Mozus moved to Aventura, Florida, where they enjoyed the last twenty years of sunshine together.
The funeral service will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, located at 1668 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA, 02445. The service is scheduled for October 29, 2025, at 10:30 am. Following the service, Lidia will be laid to rest at Beth El Cemetery, 776 Baker Street in West Roxbury.
