Linda Joyce Klein

Linda Joyce Klein of Westwood passed away on February 24, 2025. Devoted mother of Jeffrey of Medford, MA and his wife Suzanne, and Lori Kelleher of Norwood, MA. Cherished grandmother of Samantha and Christopher Klein and Julia and Brooke Kelleher. Dedicated sister of Stephen Williams of Brookline, MA. Dear daughter of the late Haskell and Evelyn Williams.

Linda inaugurated her career as an associate with General Electric in Boston before shifting her focus to raising her children and establishing lasting family bonds at home. Later in life she returned to work, spending many years at Sun Life of Canada.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her lifelong friends and emerged as a rabid fan of the local sports teams, with a special emphasis and a particular passion for the Red Sox. She never missed a chance to watch a game and cheer on the home team, and took particular pleasure in dissecting the on-and-off field movements emerging from Fenway. Linda was also always on top of current events and wasn’t shy about demonstrating her opinions on the topics with any and all in her company. She often kidded her brother Steve—who lived in New York City for years—about how he maintained his allegiances to Boston teams while engaging with Yankee fans. She always looked on the bright side of things and her favorite saying was “all you can do is laugh, laugh, laugh”.

Linda’s legacy of family love, kindness and charity will live on in our hearts. Though she will be deeply missed by her family and friends, her spirit will continue to serve as a guiding light in their lives.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 1668 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Kovner Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury. Shiva will be held following the services at the home of Jeffrey and Suzanne Klein.
