

Lloyd was born in Boston in 1938 to parents George and Sidney Gordon and attended the New Preparatory School in Cambridge before matriculating at Trinity College in Hartford, Ct. Following his early years in leasing, managing and building several real estate projects, Lloyd worked for and eventually purchased American Cellophane & Plastics, of which he was the President until 1997. He subsequently developed Amcel Center Properties, a set of commercial properties in Western Pennsylvania which continue to thrive.
An excellent athlete, Lloyd became an avid tennis and squash player and was active at the Harvard Club for many years. He was a longtime member of Belmont Country Club and a passionate golf player.
Beloved husband of Diane, his wife of 58 years, Lloyd is also survived by his brother Marc, his sons Bradley and his wife Olga, Joshua and his wife Sara, Jay and his wife Alina, daughter Devon, and his grandchildren, Eve, Charlotte, Tess, Dean, Clio and Leonidas.
Lloyd leaves behind many loving friends; his generosity and greatness of spirit will be deeply missed.
