

Lynne Bickoff, of Sharon, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 5th at the age of 80.
Born in Boston in 1945 to the late Paul and Sylvia Lief, she grew up with a deep love for her Jewish faith and heritage. She attended Hebrew Teacher’s College in Brookline, MA, and devoted her life to teaching, learning, and nurturing others.
In 1966, she married the love of her life, Peter S. Bickoff, with whom she shared a marriage of nearly six decades. Together they raised two sons, Michael (married to Jessica) and Jeffrey. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Jacob and Colin.
A resident of Sharon for more than 50 years, she gave selflessly to her community. She taught Hebrew school for over two decades at Temple Israel and shared her gifts as an ESL teacher in the Sharon school system. Her passion for teaching touched countless lives, leaving a legacy of kindness, patience, and inspiration.
She is survived by her beloved brother, Mark Lief, and his wife, Myrna. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, and friend.
Outside of her professional and family life, she was an animal lover who found joy in the companionship of pets who were cherished members of her household.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and in the community she faithfully served.
A Funeral Service will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, on Monday, September 8th at 2:00 PM. Immediately following the service, interment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham Street, Sharon.
