Mark L. Freedman, 82, of Framingham, MA, passed away on December 30, 2025.
Mark Freedman was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Sarah, and sister Evelyn. He is survived by wife Zoe, sons Scott, and Eric and his wife Sharon, daughters Jodi and her partner Brian, and Leah; and by grandchildren Jared, Kayla, Allison, Marley, and Micah, and by niece Sheryl and her son Joshua.
Mark was born November 16, 1943 and was raised in Dorchester, MA. After graduating high school in Boston, he learned from and worked with his father, who owned a plumbing company. Mark eventually went on to build his own successful plumbing and heating company, eventually joined by his sons, and it has been in operation for over 40 years.
Mark had an ultimately endearing personality. He would loudly bust your balls but would always make sure you knew how he felt about you. As much as he had accomplished and had worked for, he was humble and selfless. He lived and loved, driving the finest fastest cars, but never hesitating to share them. He read so much and learned so much, and never hesitated to share all sorts of random information, useful or not. He always was there for his family, and was loved by all.
A graveside service will be held at the Dorchester Hebrew Helping Hand Cemetery, 232 Fuller Street, Everett, MA on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
Shiva will be held at the home of Eric and Sharon, immediately following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark’s memory can be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation www.parkinson.org/donate or the Jewish National Fund at www.jnf.org/donate .
