Milton L. “Milt” Steinberg, of Newton, formerly of Belmont on Thursday, September 25, 2014. For 64 years, he was the beloved husband of Natalie (Weinstein) Steinberg. Loving father of Rabbi Bonnie Steinberg & Daniel Gensler of NY, Linda Steinberg of Watertown, David Steinberg & Joanne Landy of Falmouth and Pamela & Robert Banks of Belmont. Adored grandfather of Joshua, Micah, Matthew, Michael, Danielle, Nicole, Annabel and Benjamin. Dear brother of the late Dorothy Checkoway. Services at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline, on Sunday, September 28 at 11:00am. Burial in Sharon Memorial Park, 41 Dedham St., Sharon. The family will be at the home of Pamela & Robert Banks immediately following the burial through 5pm and on Monday & Tuesday from 4-7pm each day. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284. Milt was born in Malden, MA and served in the US Navy during WWII.
