Myron "Mike" Cooper

COOPER, Myron, “Mike,” 87 years old, of North Andover and formerly of Randolph, passed away on Wednesday, 27 October 2021. He was the loving husband of Cynthia (Zaft) Cooper of North Andover, his college sweetheart, for 66 years. Fond brother of Eleanor (Cooper) Elman and her late husband Stanley “Skippy” of FL. Dear father of Brenda (Cooper) Pepicelli and her husband Bill of Burlington, and Harry Cooper of CA. Cherished grandfather, “Papa,” of Elisa Pepicelli of Stoneham, Andrea (Pepicelli) Rhault and her husband Dan of RI, and Billy Pepicelli of Boston. Adoring great-grandfather, “GG-pa,” of Paisley, Grayson, and Emmersyn Rhault of RI.

Born in Malden and raised in Dorchester, Mike was the son of the late James and Bessie (Bernice) Cooper. He attended UMass Amherst (’55) before serving in the US Army at Fort Knox, KY and Fort Polk, LA. He also held several public service positions, including Town Moderator, United Way Representative, and President of the Brotherhood of Temple Beth-Am, in Randolph, where he and his wife Cynthia spent most of their adult life raising their two children.

Mike was well-known and revered in the insurance and investment community, earning himself top producer many times over for various companies. When he wasn’t in the office, he could be found watching a ball game, playing golf, or traveling the world. There were also his penchants for fast cars, rare coins, and funny sayings. But his greatest joy of all was spending time with his loving and caring family. He will be missed and remembered by all who knew him.

Private services will be held on Monday, 1 November 2021, at 2:00 PM, at Sharon Memorial Park, 40 Dedham St, Sharon, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Floor 17, Chicago IL 60601. Please note that all attendees at the service are required to be vaccinated
