

Norman Stavisky, age 87, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, formerly of Boston and Needham Massachusetts, died peacefully at home on Sunday, May 22 in the loving care of his best friend and wife, Ruth (Gordon) Stavisky.
In addition to his beloved wife of 64 years, Norman is lovingly remembered by his children, Jayne Berggren, Paula Ziskin and her husband Joe, Adam Stavisky and his wife, Liz; and his six grandchildren Max Ziskin (Aliza), Lena Sobel (Louis), Simon Berggren (Camilla), Annika Berggren (Anna), Laura Stavisky (Matthew) and Ethan Stavisky; and his two great grandchildren, Bella Berggren and Alicia Berggren.
Norman was born and raised in Chelsea, Massachusetts and earned his B.A. and J.D. from Boston University. He founded what became Stavisky, Shapiro & White, one of Boston’s preeminent accounting firms. He later bought, improved and sold Hudson Lock. Norman enjoyed supporting a number of charities, playing golf and skiing at Waterville Valley in NH. But above all, Norman loved being with his wife and family and dedicated his life to providing for each of them.
Due to covid concerns, private services will be at Sharon Memorial Park, Sharon. Shiva will be held at Adam and Liz’s home on Thursday, May 26 from 3pm until 8pm.
