Philip George Barach, age 84, passed away on August 31, 2014. Philip was a graduate of Boston Latin School, Boston University, and Harvard Business School. Married in 1955 to Sheila Brown of Newton, MA, Philip moved to Cincinnati, OH in 1962 and became Chief Executive Officer of the US Shoe Corporation, and remained in that position until his retirement in 1993. Phil is survived by his wife Sheila; three sons Michael, David and Daniel, and 13 grandchildren. Private services on Thursday, September 4 at 11:00 AM at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 1668 Beacon Street, BROOKLINE, MA. with interment at Mishkan Tefila Memorial Park, Centre Street, West Roxbury. Shiva will be held at his home in Bedford, from Thursday after 3pm, Friday from 12 to 3pm, and Sunday noon to 3pm. A Memorial Gathering will be held Friday at 5pm, at Hampton Place, 77 Florence Street, Chestnut Hill, MA. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be donated to the charity of your choice.
