Rhoda was a client of mine over the last few years. She was more like a friend in many ways. She had a delightfully penetrating and succinct way of asking questions and engaging. We laughed a lot too. She appreciated the simple and obvious gifts if life namely her loving family, friends and her community. She had a lovely intellectual/philosophical approach to all of the complexities of this life and was always kind when advising . I will miss her beautiful sweet presence. May she be received by the angels .

I am very sad to read about Rhoda's passing. I just saw the trailer to the new film, "Mr Banks," about the making of the Mary Poppins movie.  I remember how Rhoda and Spencer once asked me a question about the movie "Mary Poppins" and i said we didn't own it.  Days later, Spencer gave me copy from Rhoda for my pre-school children and it has been a family favorite for these past 20 years. After seeing the trailer i wondered about Rhoda and googled her to see if i could get her email address and arrange to visit her.  That's when i saw this news.  I am very sorry. She was a bright energetic and caring person and she was a tremendous support for Spencer at the dental school and office. And her daughters made her so happy and proud. My condolences to Beth and Cathy, may remembering how much joy you brought to your mother make her passing easier.

I met Mrs Frankl when I first started working at Jean Pierre
& Co.
Her kindness is what always stood out for me. She always made a point of coming over to chat and catch up with how I was and how my family was doing.
My thoughts go out to her family during this most difficult time.

I was deeply saddened by the news of

We will always remember Rhoda as an especially kind person who invariably took the time to talk to everyone. She was a gracious presence in a world that is frequently lacking grace. Though we have not seen Rhoda much in recent years, we know she was strongly involved in all the branches of her family, including our distant one. Her lovingkindness will be remembered by all who met her.

As a student at BUSGD, Spencer and Rhoda were kind and gracious to me and all the students of the school.  They treated us like family and I felt the same way about them.  Thank you for being the most loving, caring, kind and supportive surrogate parents we could have had.  God bless them, and us, in their memory.
