

Richard was the devoted husband of Janet Bobit. He was born on March 3, 1944 in New Rochelle, New York to Mortimer and Bernice (Colish) Greenberg.
Richard graduated from Princeton University in 1966 and earned an MBA from Columbia University in 1968. He joined TWA after graduating from Columbia and worked in investor relations for several years before finding his joy as a counselor for Consumer Credit Counseling Services in Boston.
Richard also volunteered with the Boston Bar Association, preparing tax returns for low-income filers and with Ethos, driving elderly individuals to appointments.
Richard and Janet moved to Massachusetts in 1981 and were residents of Boston’s Back Bay since 1985. They enjoyed traveling, be it a day trip to Kennebunkport for lobster rolls or to India, Africa, or Dubai.
In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves his sister Barbara Levey of Grand Cayman and his brother Allan Greenberg (Susan) of Upper Saddle River, NJ., as well as several nieces and nephews.
