Robert “Rob” Polansky, 74, of Natick, passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 19, 2026, after battling acute leukemia. He was the son of the late George and Phyllis Polansky.
Rob was a renaissance man: a skilled musician, a successful tax consultant, an active member of the Jewish community, and a dedicated supporter of Israel. He held strong passions for writing music, speaking Hebrew, studying Torah, and mentoring others. Rob was a friend to many, never met a stranger
Rob is survived by his wife and soulmate of 48 years, Debra Polansky. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Gallagher, and her husband, Kevin Gallagher; his sister‑in‑law, Lisa Griggs; his nephew, Ethan Griggs; and his mother‑in‑law, Betty Sandler Federman of Florida.
Services will be held at Temple Shir Tikva, 141 Post Road, Wayland, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private. Shiva will follow the service at 10 Nouvelle Way, Natick, in Club Nouvelle on the 6th floor, from 2:30–5:00 PM, with minyan at 4:30 PM.
