Rose Beren

Beren, Rose of Worcester passed away on January 25, 2015 at the age of 86 surrounded by her loving family. She was the dear daughter of the late Samuel and Annie (Magnet) Hymans. Beloved wife of Eliot Beren with whom she honeymooned with for 67 years. Devoted mother of Ann Koenig and her husband the late Harvey Koenig of Windsor, CT and Sandi Beren Mahoney and her husband Tom “Moe” of Framingham. Loving sister of the late Max, Meyer “Mike” and Murray Hymans. Cherished grandmother of Jenn Roulier and her husband Rob, Josh Caplin and his wife Kate, Kara Mahoney Robinson and her husband Jeff and Eric B. Mahoney and his wife Ilyse. Elated great grandmother of Jake, Zack, Ryan, Rachel, Hannah, Lily and Ari as well as many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 11:30am at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St, BROOKLINE. Interment will follow at Zviller Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, W. Roxbury. Memorial observance will be held immediately following interment at the home of Sandi Beren Mahoney and her husband Tom. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Make-a wish foundation, One Bulfinch Place, 2nd Floor, Boston, MA 02114 or to Rachel's Table, 633 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA 01609 where Rose volunteered.
