Shender, Sandra Ruth (Hollander) of Natick, formerly of Philadelphia. Entered into rest on January 27, 2014 at the age of 76. Dear daughter of the late Jules and Lillian (Applebaum) Hollander. Beloved wife of Robert Shender. Devoted mother of Karen Weiner and her husband Richard of Ashland, MA David Shender and his wife Cindy of Oak Park, CA, Larry Shender of Sunny Isles, FL. Loving sister of Joan Baker and her husband Arthur Goldberg. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Andrew and Bradley Weiner, Jason and Cory Shender, Daniel, Matthew and Isabella Shender. Adored great grandmother of Jaden Weiner. A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2014 at 12 Noon at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon Street, BROOKLINE. Family and friends are invited to gather immediately following the service at the home of Karen and Richard Weiner. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Sandra’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association of Eastern MA, 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472.
