Sheldon Rotenberg

Sheldon Rotenberg of Brookline on June 23, 2012 at the age of 95. A violinist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra for 43 years, Sheldon died peacefully after a long and much celebrated life. Beloved husband of Hilde (Sussmann) Rotenberg. Devoted father of David Rotenberg and his wife Emilie Boon of Newton, and Steffi R. Samman and her husband Tarik Samman of Carlisle. Loving grandfather of Caroline and Andreas Rotenberg, and Natalia and Lilli Samman. Dear brother of Tilda Kessler of Providence, RI.

Services will be private.

Memorial observance will be at his late residence on Tuesday, June 26, 5:00-7:00 pm, Wednesday, June 27, 2:00-4:00 pm & 6:00-8:00 pm, Thursday, June 28, 2:00-4:00 pm.
