Shelley Jane Rosen

ROSEN, Shelley Jane, longtime resident of Newton, entered into rest on March 10, 2024 at the age of 68. Beloved aunt of Jennifer and Jeffrey Rosen and their children Emily and Brady, and the late Peter Rosen and his surviving wife Tara. Loving sister of Marsha Penhaker and her husband John of Delaware. Dear daughter of the late Adam “Ted” Rosen and the late Ella (Coleman) Rosen. She is also survived by several cousins. Her niece and nephews were very beloved to her.

Shelley was a 1973 graduate of Newton South High School, obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Boston University and a Masters’ Certificate in Accounting from Bentley University. She worked as an accountant in various positions before retiring from Harte Hanks, Inc. as a tax accountant.

Shelley’s funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Stanetsky Memorial Chapels, 1668 Beacon Street, BROOKLINE. Interment to follow at Beth El Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury. Shiva will be observed on Tuesday following interment until 7PM and on Wednesday from 1PM-7PM at her late residence.
