Sylvia (Wegman) Shapiro, age 99, of Newton on Saturday, October 10, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Norton Shapiro. Devoted daughter of the late Max and Jennie (Shufro) Wegman. Loving mother of Simon Shapiro and his wife Margaret Moran, Ellen Shapiro and Marci Shapiro. Cherished grandmother of Sara Shapiro and Robin Shapiro, and great grandmother of Sofia. Dear sister of the late Ralph Wegman and the late Myra Zarrow and her surviving husband Gerald Zarrow. Fond aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Graveside service at Puritan Mt. Sinai Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at 12noon.
