Thelma M. “Terri” Lavine, age 84, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 2, 2013 with her family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Herbert B. Lavine. Loving mother of Jeffery A. Lavine and Lilli A. Lavine & Steve W. Ertle. Adored grandmother of Noah Benjamin Lavine, Layla Ruth Lavine-Ertle and Kyra Rose Lavine-Ertle. A celebration of her life will be held at the Levine Chapels, 470 Harvard St., Brookline on Friday, October 4 at 10:00am. Burial in the Jewish Benevolent Cemetery, 350 Grove St., West Roxbury. Memorial observance following interment through 6pm at her late residence. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Home for Little Wanderers. Proud of her Judaism, she was a lifelong member of Hadassah and an active member and volunteer of the Jewish Community Center for many years. We love you Mom, our hearts are with you forever.
