William Abrams of Cambridge, passed away in his sleep Friday night at age 62. He was a kind, generous soul of great learning, who graduated from Brandeis in 1983 and never stopped studying. His lifelong struggles with mental illness were complicated in recent years by an increasing number of physical illnesses.
He found happiness and companionship with his longtime partner Julia Colt, of blessed memory. Beloved brother of Joel (Robin) Abrams, David (Sharon) Abrams. Loving uncle of Miriam, Joshua, Jonathan and Alison.
Services will be held at Temple Isaiah, 55 Lincoln Street, Lexington, Tuesday at 1PM.
Shiva will be Tuesday 4-6 at the Abrams family home in Lexington, Thursday 7-9 at the Abrams family home in Chappaqua, NY, and Sunday 7-8:30pm in Lexington.
