Lenny was not only a great person and teacher, but was my only friend when I moved back to NYC.  He taught me so much about art and life.  May he be a shining light forever.

My condolences to Lenny’s entire family. He was a great teacher and a great man. Rest in peace.

Lenny was a mentor, teacher and friend. An art enthusiast and sharer of it. He taught me art skills that enabled me to attend the art school of my choice and to continue a life immersed in art. He loved good food, travel and the MET. I remember his laughter. I will never forget him and how he influenced my life. He will be greatly missed.
